After replying to your email below, my Cozmo was sent to me on the very same afternoon!

I have to apologize for this late email since it has been 2 weeks since receiving the bag and I promised to write you… but I really wanted to put the Cozmo through its paces first before writing anything about it. In the past I’ve spent money on “good-looking” bags only to realize through daily usage that they did not stand up to the test. Either they had one or two design flaws or the material didn’t hold up well. I’m glad to report that after 2 weeks of heavy usage… I love my Cozmo even more and only have good things to say about it!

Here are some things I like about my Cozmo as compared to my old bag:

1) In the past, I used to put my car and house keys in the zippered front pocket of my laptop bag. The way those front compartments were designed made it difficult for me to access their contents with one hand. Now I just dump my keys into the front zippered pocket of my Cozmo… and I can retrieve my bunch of keys at anytime with just one hand without even looking!

2) Other laptop bags I’ve used came with specifically designed pockets to hold pens or CDs. The problem was --- I hardly carried those things around in my bag. If I did, the pens and pencils go in my pencil case anyway. The Cozmo has large, usable and sensible pockets that can be used to hold anything without being too restrictive.

3) Did I mention that the Cozmo is voluminous! Yet it’s so easy to carry around. At any one time, I have my clear folders, documents, Moleskine diary, books, reference material and laptop inside. Plus the sling is ultra comfortable. Even with a fully loaded notebook I didn’t feel any shoulder strain. This is also the FIRST bag I’ve used that the sling doesn’t require constant adjustment or keep slipping off my shoulder. It seems to grip well onto anything I’m wearing!

4) The interior gold lining is a plus – Makes it easier to see where my small items such as my thumb drives are. I have a black Sony thumb drive, and it often got lost in my old bag.

5) I had initial concerns that the carrying handle wouldn’t be comfortable. If I have anything good to say about my old laptop bag, it would be that the bag had a very comfortable carrying handle. The one on my Cozmo is even better! Plus now I use the sling so much more, I don’t even carry my bag by the handle much anymore.

6) Love the fact that the Cozmo stands by itself. My previous bag always had to be leaned against something.

7) Finally this bag has killer looks. At least 3 people have complimented me on how great my bag looks and I directed them to your website. One guy in the same elevator as me two weeks ago kept eyeing my bag the moment I stepped into the elevator!

Ever since I started using my Cozmo, I have been so much more productive! I manage 3 companies and need to frequently stay connected via a laptop. In the past 2 weeks, I have brought it to countless meetings, appointments, trips and even to a seminar we conducted during the weekend. The bag held all the paperwork I needed for the seminar, my stationery plus my laptop. I was able to be at the seminar venue and have all my stuff within reach in a very short time.

I have a feeling the Cozmo will be central to my life from now on. Thanks for making such a wonderful bag.

Also, I just upgraded my laptop to an Apple Macbook Pro a few days ago and will be ordering a new sleeve case to go with it. Just a side note – I was utterly shocked by the quality of the sleeve case. All the sleeves out there selling for comparable prices don’t even provide the same amount of padding and quality. The photos on your website can’t do a good enough job of putting the quality of your products across!

I have known about your products for years. In fact, I already have a case for my lap top (the one that has the Velcro flap). It’s the best bag I could find to protect my lap top during my travels. As an architect, I want great design first’ and your products, are well-made, well-designed and use quality materials. I ask you, given those qualities how could I buy anything but a WaterField bag?

After placing my very first order last week (12/15/06), Gary e-mailed me confirming my order and asking how I found the website. I told him that I had heard about your company when I was searching for a new laptop bag over a year ago, had bookmarked your website, and kept coming back to it. I was initially intimidated with the cost of your products, so I settled for another kind of laptop bag that is still very good. I confess that the holiday shopping season had me in a consumer mood, so I came back to your site and took the plunge and ordered the Mambo Combo, along with a few other accessories (the iPod speaker case and a Gear Pouch). I figured I deserved it since I finished all my gift shopping months ago!

So I placed my order on 12/15/06, and I received a confirmation that my order was shipping out WITHIN LESS THAN 5 HOURS of my order! That was unbelievable! The order arrived not the 2nd business day (which is what I paid for), but the very next business day, which was yesterday, 12/18/06. I was completely taken aback with the service, the speed, and ultimately, the incredible products! I have used products by Eddie Bauer, Timberland, Timbuk2, Victorinox/Swiss Army, and even Tumi, and let me tell you: your stuff blows them all out of the water! The designs are even more elegant than any of your website photos can portray. The materials are tough, sturdy, obviously made to work but also beautifully plush and pleasing to the eye and to the touch. The Gear Pouch and the Cabeleguy are more roomy than the listed dimensions can describe: they hold my cables, AC charger adapters, etc. I got a large iPod case to use for my digital camera (as suggested on the web site) and it hold everything including a case for my memory sticks, a portable tripod, connector cables, a spare battery, the camera owner's manual, printer cables, etc. The iPod speaker case is a gorgeous, decidedly sharp step-up from the flimsy nylon drawstring pouch that my Altec speakers came with and offers so much more obvious protection for my upcoming travels. Considering the superior quality of your products, your prices are frugal and accessible. (As a consumer who works in the not glamorous or high-paying field of education, I know I have to spend my money wisely, and investing in your products is exactly that!)

I can't believe I didn't get your stuff sooner. In fact, today 12/19/06, after playing with my new purchases last night, I went back online and ordered another bag and another accessory. Tanja just called me directly to let me know that the bag with the buckle style I ordered is not in stock, so I got the paragliding buckle instead, and I'll get that bag tomorrow! Again: what dedicated service and speed. Such attention to me as a customer is unrivaled in my online shopping experience.

I think I've become and advocate and an addict to your products. I keep thinking of ways to organize all my tech gear at home and in the office (my chargers, my travel accessories, my iPod gear, my camera stuff, etc.) into your bags, and I have no doubt that I will come back and purchase again. Please keep up the great work! I hope you expand into other travel gear like toiletry bags or luggage, and then I will upgrade my life again with more Waterfield Designs!

Upon a recommendation from a friend, a couple of years ago I bought one of your small Cozmo bags, plus a sleeve and a utility pouch. To carry my 12" Apple iBook (now: an Apple PowerBook).

I can't say enough good things about the Cozmo. It's the most functional and most comfortable computer carrying bag I've ever used. And it "stands up" to continuous daily use for years. (The carrying strap attachments on two of my previous bags broke on me, damaging my computer on one occasion.)

So, when looking for a better digital camera case, I was glad to find you folks offer those now. [The other items on the order, were bought on "impulse", but I'm sure they'll be useful.]
