Do I need to remove my speaker when I want to play music?

Heck no! The iPod Hi-Fi Speaker Case is a play-through case. The oval front oval opening lets users play their music without having to take the speaker out. Many of our customers never take the speaker out. Why not have a little extra protection for your toy even when you are at home?

How much protection will the case provide for my speakers?

The case front flap incorporates a solid plate of impact-resistant plastic for protecting the front grill and speakers. The remainder of the case is made with WaterField’s custom blend of ballistic nylon and high-density foam offering protection from scratches and bruises all-around.

How portable is this case?

You’ll be surprised at how easy this case makes it to carry around your Hi-Fi speakers.

I see a lot of great pockets on this case. What should I put in each?

Two padded side pockets store the remote control and power cable that is sold with the iPod Hi-Fi. These pockets have been thoughtfully designed to keep the buttons of the remote control from being compressed, which can drain the battery. The iPod itself and earbuds can also be stored in these side pockets.

Two inside flap pockets at the top of the case can store thin cables. These flap pockets can be un-zipped so the iPod Hi-Fi can be easily put in or taken out of its case.

What is the covered slot at the bottom of the back of the case for?

This slot is for plugging in the power cable and the 'audio in' jack - a detail we didn’t overlook.

Can I order the iPod Hi-Fi Speaker Case with a different accent color?

Yes, we can create a custom case in any WaterField color. For example, if you want an iPod Hi-Fi Speaker case with Celeste accents, we can do this for you. There is an additional charge for custom orders since we have to disrupt our normal production run to sew the case. Keep in mind that the strip of accent color on the iPod Hi-Fi Case is very small, but since we have to make it separately, the same custom charge applies.
