How many colors does the Sony Reader Travel Case come in? The Photos show it only in Black.

The Sony Reader SleeveCase - what are the functions of the bottom pull-tab and rear open top pocket?

The bottom pull-tab is to make it easy to remove the Sony Reader. Slide one finger through the loop and with your other hand pull your Sony Reader out. The rear open top pocket can hold your USB cable and ear buds reasonably securely. The Slip Case also comes with the bottom pull-tab.

Do the SleeveCase and Slip Case protect the Sony Reader screen?

Both the Slip Case and the SleeveCase have a sheet of impact-resistant plastic sewn in between the padded liner and the outside textile. You can’t see the plastic, but you can feel it in there. So, maybe you’ll sleep better at night knowing that while you’re snoozing, your case is hard at work protecting your Sony Reader—screen and all.

Will the Sony Reader fit into the Travel Case when it’s inside the Slip Case or the case that comes with the Sony Reader?

Of course! It fits whether it is in another case or not. We included a slender inside pocket to protect your Sony Reader without a case for those who like to keep their Sony Reader naked…er…without another case around it. When it’s inside another case, slip your Sony Reader into the main compartment.

Why is the Travel Case so thin?

We designed the Travel Case thin, because thin cases are generally easier to pack. Short, squat items can take up a big chunk in the middle of your bag and make it more difficult to pack other items. The Travel Case’s padded pockets for the power supply and reading light are off to the side of the padded Sony Reader pocket. In addition to helping to keep the Travel Case thin, this design helps prevent any impact from pushing each item into another.
