The
optional Shoulder strap turns the SleeveCase into the ideal carry-on
baggage candidate for air and rail travel. Designed equally well as the
rest of the kit, the Shoulder strap is quite possibly the most
comfortable one i've ever used. Sure, the PowerBook doesn't weigh a
ton, but WaterField designed it to be both versatile and with comfort
in mind.

So to recap, slide the laptop into the sleeve, close the
flap, attach the piggyback pouch, fill it with useful stuff, and then
clip-on the shoulder strap. Smaller than a digital camera kit bag or
about the size of a large handbag, the SleeveCase is a perfect
companion to a travelling executive or door-to-door agent. Field
photographers will also appreciate this case as it's not too
cumbersome. The optional D-rings are handy too as you can clip-on extra
things like WaterField's iSight case which we recently reviewed. Check out WaterField's SooperDooper iPod 3rd-generation case while you're at it.
Putting it to use

Once again, WaterField has a truly great product on their
hands. Offering a non-bulky laptop carrying-case to consumers is just
one of their many thoughtful products which they offer. Although it
doesn't replace a large carrying-case outright as they have their own
uses, the SleeveCase does fill a void in the industry. That said
however, we feel that the Piggyback pouch, although an optional
accessory, is a must-have as you have no room except in your hands or
pockets to store things like an AC charger or mouse. Perhaps the
SleeveCase was initially designed and targetted at those who attend
inter-departmental staff meetings and the like, but with the addition
of the pouch, flap, and shoulder strap, the SleeveCase appeals to those
that desire and seek simplicity in their day to day lives.
