The company was formed last year by Gary Waterfield, a former bike messenger in Boston.
"As a bike messenger, my bag had to hold all shapes of packages to stay in place on my back while I pedaled through the streets of Boston and Cambridge," Waterfield said. "My radio would be strapped to the shoulder strap and I'd always carry a change of clothes stashed in the bottom for emergencies."
From soft briefcases, laptop bags, totes and wallets, these products can ship directly from placement of order at the Web site (http://www.waterfield-designs.com).
The VertiGo bag is made of Ballistic nylon for added support and costs $79. Its front (top) loading feature makes it easier to pack a laptop.
Travelers are always looking for easier ways to stay organized while traveling. WaterField Designs seems to have found the solution.
