off, I have to admit I didn’t really fancy the shape of this pouch at
first. It looks like some sort of bathroom bag you take on vacation.
However, upon receiving and testing it, I found this pouch has some
amazing storage capabilities and a very smart inner design with many
compartments.
Since I already touched on it, let’s start with the outside of the
pouch. Aside from one checkered strip along the little zipper and the
logo, the pouch is all black. The checkered strip can come in 1 of 5
colors. The pouch also features two straps for carrying purposes.
Although I don’t recommend carrying it on your belt, if you have a
carabineer it works well with a backpack, duffel bag, etc. The bag is
far too large and heavy for your belt.
Once you open up the pouch, you’ll be amazed. The main zipper has a compartment for your PSP,
a couple for games, another large compartment for accessories and
plenty of room in between them all for cords and other accessories. I
fit my PSP in my Noreve Tradition leather case, a Airform UMD pouch, a
Intec UMD case, 9 UMDs and still had room for my Arkon SoundFeeder,
cords and a charger in the middle. And this was only in the main
zipper. The little zipper has room for several memory cards, you’ll need to use the memory card cases though, and a couple of compartments for accessories or more UMDs.
Even with all this stuff in the pouch, it still wasn’t crammed. I could
access everything just find and everything was nicely secured. The
material for each compartment is very soft and fairly thick. Even
without a case, the PSP is well protected.
Considering the size of the Gear Pouch, it’s hard to believe how much
stuff you can fit into it. The smart design allows for safe storage of
all your PSP stuff. The pricetag of $39 is a fair price for what you
get. This will carry everything you’ll ever need for your PSP.
