For consultants who carry a lot of tech gear to get their job done, the Tech Folio Plus keeps them organized on the job. Organizational pockets keep cables, cords, power chargers, and small items neat, tidy, and in their place. 


For smaller capacity, see the Tech Folio (fits 11-inch tablets) and larger capacity Tech Folio 16-inch (fits 16-inch MacBook Pro). 

All our products are crafted locally in our workshop by the most skilled sewing team in San Francisco.

The Tech Folio Plus is part of the Tech Folio Collection. There are three sizes based on capacity and laptop size requirements. The measurements for the other cases are:

Tech Folio

I use this with my new MILES LAPTOP BACKPACK as the medium fits inside. It will fit in some airline seatbacks. In other Waterfield backpacks, I would carry accessory bags. The Tech Folio also allows me to take it when I don't need the backpack and just my iPad. It would be great to have a key holder in the zipper pocket. As always the quality is exceptional. When I buy bags, briefcases or storage bags I always purchase Waterfield. I just get tired of older bags so I give them away and people always asking me when am I going to get a new bag.

Tech Folio - Initial thoughts

I have only had my Tech Folio for about two weeks and I am pleased. It has the quality and craftsmanship I have come to expect from Waterfield Designs. The padded heavy canvas protects my iPad (Gen 10) and Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard, and the overall design is compact and efficient. There are numerous interior zippered mesh pockets for cables, EarPods, etc., as well as two medium size non-zippered interior pockets for chargers or whatever. There is also a large canvas covered zippered exterior pocket with a slot for an iPhone and several pen/pencil slots for Apple Pencil or writing pens. All zippers are high quality and the external zippers are rubber coated for maximum water resistance. The stitching and workmanship are outstanding. I purchased the optional Suspension Strap and look forward to many years of great service from my Tech Folio.

so close it hurts

Spectacular bag, screaming to be your solo case in cafes and meeting rooms. Which means you’ll love hanging it off chairs in those places — at which point you’ll discover that it is hanging upside down and you can’t open it without everything falling out. I get the design challenge here; either a hefty handle on the spine, or two wimpier handles on either side of the zipper. And in many circumstances the design works well. But if you spend a lot of time with your bag hanging off a chair this will quickly irritate you, in an otherwise spectacular bag.

Holds everything you need with little fuss

The Tech Folio is a great fit for all my needs. I'm able to hold a 30W MacBook AIr power adapter. An Anker adapter for my  Watch and Airpods Pro. 20 watt iPad Air 4 adapter, and a quick charger for my iPhone. All the cables I need are neatly organized in the mesh pockets and really cleans up the mess in my bag when I travel. Of course, this being a Waterfield product, workmanship is top notch and the zippers are smooth and I predict will last many years. This is a great item if you want to organize your cables. Great product, through and through.

I bought the tech folio to consolidate all of the electronics we use during fieldwork. It holds most everything. I sort of wish I had gotten the bigger one, or maybe that it could expand a bit more.

There are three sizes based on capacity and laptop size requirements. The smaller Tech Folio is ideal for those who carry a lot of gadgets, and fits an 11" tablet.  The middle-sized Tech Folio Plus is for the IT consultant or designated home expert who rely on having the right tools at hand to fix a variety of issues. It can fit laptops up to 13 inches. The larger capacity Tech Folio 16-inch holds more gear, and fits laptops up to 16 inches. The Tech Folios can also serve as a minimalist laptop bag.  

TECH FOLIO and TECH FOLIO PLUS

The small-capacity Tech Folio is ideal for gadgeteers who tend to carry along electronic gadgets. The mid-capacity Tech Folio Plus holds a lot more gear and works well for Pros and IT consultants who carry more tech with them. 

HOW TO FRESHEN UP YOUR CANVAS

Keep your bag looking new by applying wax when you think it needs a little refresh. Although any wax is applicable, you can use Martexin Original Wax which was initially used to coat your canvas bag. 

CARING FOR YOUR LEATHER AND WAXED CANVAS

 

If you have the waxed canvas and chocolate leather version of the Tech Folio Plus, Gary shows how you can maintain these materials so they’ll look great over time. We use full grain Roughman Leather for your bag which has oils that respond well to heat.

 

Although this video is for the AirPods Max Shield Case, the maintenance also applies to your bag.
