I have purchased many products from Waterfield designs and have never been disappointed. This Bolt duffle was better than I expected even though I should have expected greatness. Love you guys!

EXCELLENT! Small Double Compartment

I got the small double compartment on ballistic and black. I wanted a duffle to go with my Bolt Backpack (another incredible product from Waterfield) for work trips (under a week). I actually ended up purchasing BOTH small and large to try them both side by side. The Small fits about a weeks worth of clothes. I’m an XL - I fit 6 shirts, socks, underwear, a thick sweater, a dress shirt and a polo in packing cubes and there was still a bit of room at the top (though I couldn’t fit my dip kit, but I’m sure smaller kits would fit). It was pretty tight, but I had no trouble closing zippers or anything. The Double compartment duffle had all kinds of room to spare for the same amount of stuff!

The Large is MUCH bigger than I anticipated… I kind of wish they had a size in between, so I could have a bit more room with the really compact/professional feel!

That being said, if you’re not anticipating traveling out of the US and you don’t fill it to the brim (which would be difficult anyways!), the Large might be the way to go! I might go with the small though, since I’ll mostly be using it for shorter trips, or pairing it with checked luggage.

Beautiful and classy bag

Great bag for work! I love that straps are long enough that I can wear them over my shoulder. Nice feature that each compartment can be filled to full capacity of the bag.

"You should get the dual-zipper version. It's the best part! Each side can take over ~75% of the internal volume with the extra fabric in the divider. It's a clever, effective bit of organization that doesn't really detract from the main use for a duffel. HOW TO FRESHEN UP YOUR CANVAS

Keep your bag looking new by applying wax when you think it needs a little refresh. Although any wax is applicable, you can use Martexin Original Wax which was initially used to coat your canvas bag.
