Exceptional quality and durability

The Vitesse backpack is very well made and is rugged, yet simple in design. May have preferred a couple more pockets for an umbrella & water bottle. We will see how well it supports my upcoming business trip to Europe's as the real test.

ELEGANTLY SIMPLE

The minimalist design and open interior of the Vitesse Backpack let you carry whatever you need in this versatile, lightweight pack.

A separate pocket separates a laptop/tablet from other contents. We recommend using a sleeve for added protection. See WaterField Sleeve Collection.

HEAVY-DUTY 15 OZ. WAXED CANVAS

Not all waxed canvas bags are created equal. Lower quality bags use 6 oz. canvas. The majority designated as “durable” use 12 oz. canvas. At 15 oz., our waxed canvas exceeds what is commonly sold in the market, yet it's still lightweight. It has a naturally rugged, distressed look and can be re-waxed to freshen it up.

The canvas comes from a reputable U.S. mill that has produced these fabrics since 1930. This specialized textile is coated with Martexin Original Wax™ and shouldn't require much cleaning. Stains can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

HOW TO FRESHEN UP YOUR CANVAS

Keep your bag Vitesse Backpack looking new by applying wax when you think it needs a little refresh. Although you can use any wax, you may want to try Martexin Original Wax™ which was initially used to coat your canvas bag.
