The paragliding buckle that appears on our Cargo Bag is the same as those used in the actual sport. The inspiration for putting it on the Cargo came from Gary's own paragliding experience. With the quick-release feature and its high performance in urgent situations, he thought the buckle was ideal for a frequently-accessed bag holding heavy loads.

As with all WaterField products, our team takes them out for extensive field testing prior to final production. If it's good enough for paragliders, it's good enough for us.
