At WaterField, we use only the highest quality materials we can find, and we source them all from US vendors. WaterField uses indestructible ballistic nylon, premium full-grain leather and waxed canvas for bags, sleeves, and cases. We aim to make the best gear money can buy. 

Our ballistic nylon is custom-made just for us. The nylon is coated with a special material that enhances its protection against the elements and gives our bags a substantial feel. Many of our products use this rugged ballistic nylon, including SleeveCases for MacBook and PC laptops and the Cozmo briefcase.

Our leather bags and cases are crafted from premium full-grain leather taken from the best part of the cow hide. Some companies add layers of synthetic material to thin leather to make it look thicker.  Not WaterField. Our naturally-tanned  leather is authentic to the core. Waxed cotton canvas is another ultra-durable material that —like our top-of-the-line leather—looks and feels better the longer you use it.
