We’ve been hard at work sketching and testing some designs based on your survey feedback. We have several ideas in mind, and would like your feedback on a small but very important feature — the water bottle holder. Please let us know your thoughts.

UPDATE #1.1: It’s Finished! - April 1, 2023

The Compact Executive Backpack - Update 1.1

After reading through all your comments, we decided to go mega compact and super formal. A true executive backpack looks good with any suit, even a white tuxedo.

Are we going in the right direction? Send your comments to HeyGary@SFbags.com.

UPDATE #1: Survey Results - March 17, 2023

The Compact Pro Backpack - Update 1

Thanks to everyone who participated in our survey. We’re excited to be working with you again. We pored over the responses and here are the key takeaways:

1. Small is good.
You carry multiple bags for different use cases, and those who carry backpacks (the majority) have both a medium and a large backpack fulfilling different purposes. However, you’d like a smaller-sized bag when not carrying as much.

Our intention is to create a small backpack in the 10-15 liter range with these approximate dimensions: 15” x 11.5” x 4.75"

2. You’re packing less.
A laptop or tablet and your phone are the main items you’d carry in this compact backpack, along with smaller necessities like mints, gum, inhaler, earbuds, pills, USB drives, keys, etc.

Our intention is for this compact backpack to fit a laptop or tablet and smaller necessities only.

3. Keeping it organized.
While you won’t be carrying as much in this compact backpack, you’d like the items you do carry to be organized efficiently.

Our intention is to implement various organizational styles so the backpack keeps a slim profile.

Based on what you told us, we’re exploring several ideas, and we’ll be ready to show you sketches in Update #2.

Anything else you’d like to add? If this survey isn’t appearing on your browser, please email your reply to HeyGary@SFbags.com.
