What's the difference between the new Suede Jacket Sleeve and the SleeveCase?

On a sliding scale, the SleeveCase will offer far better bang and bump protection than the Suede Jacket Sleeve. The Suede Jacket Sleeve is incredibly light weight, offer excellent scratch protection and the neoprene base does offer some "set it down" protection. The Suede Jacket Sleeve is for those that want to protect with minimal bulk.

Why no closure strap?

The Suede Jacket Sleeve has excellent memory stretch and is form fitting so your laptop won't slide out unless you pull it out. The side finger holds making getting your laptop in a snap.

How much side protection does the Suede Jacket Sleeve offer?

Against scratches... pretty well. The neoprene base offers good "set-down" protection. The sides do not have neoprene.... if you want padded side protection, go with the SleeveCase.

Is the Suede Jacket Sleeve really made out of suede?

The Suede Jacket Sleeve is made out of a soft, scratch-free microfiber: Ultrasuede™. Ultrasuede is a completely synthetic material.

Will my Suede Jacket Sleeve scratch my screen?

NO! It is made of a 100% scratch-free material. In fact, you can even use it to clean your computer screen in a pinch.

What if my Suede Jacket Sleeve gets dirty? Can I wash it?

Yes. Unlike the suede made from animals, this suede is 100% spot and machine washable.
