The Piggybacks have two small metal snap-hooks that attach to the same metal D-rings that the Suspension Shoulder Strap attaches.

The SleeveCase with the Shoulder Strap option is like getting two cases in one (1) to protect your laptop while inside of another bag (2) attach the Shoulder Strap and use the SleeveCase as a stand-alone case.

For those that want to use the SleeveCase as a stand-alone case, we offer the Piggyback so you can also take along a few accessories. Then when you want to throw your SleeveCase into another bag, you can quickly detach both the Shoulder Strap and Piggyback.

If you don't plan on using the SleeveCase outside of another bag and want a place to store your laptop accessories, you will probably be better served with either the Gear Pouch or Cableguy. Having the Piggyback attached to the SleeveCase while inside of another bag will get in the way because it sits right in the center of the SleeveCase.
