This 4 star rating is tentative, based on my initial inspection of this well-made bag.
We're scheduled for some long duration air travel pretty soon and we'll see how well the bag holds up under these conditions.

Fantastic bag

I recently bought the Air Porter and I can’t be more happy about it.
From the moment I made the purchase, the team was amazingly helpful and accommodating with a particular logistic need I had. They kept me up to date and everyone I interacted with was amazing.
I got the bag and it is just perfect. The quality, the looks, materials, design. I took it to an overnight trip by train and I could easily fit everything that I needed. It carries really well and it is super easy to access the front pocket while you are standing or even walking. Oh, and yes, the bag stands upright :)
All in all, the bag is amazing and the customer service is equally amazing!

It’s a great bag! Holds everything I need for work in the office or in the field. Completely well made, excellent quality. I only wish it was brown like the pictures! I’m greatly looking forward to using it.

This is a beautiful piece of gear. I’ve eyeballed the stitching and tested the zippers, but won’t use it until I travel this weekend. Like all the other Waterfield products I’ve bought (five of them?), it’s a piece of art. If I find any flaws, I’ll update, but once again I’m pleased I spent the extra bucks!

Air Porter for Cameras and Travel

I have been looking for a carry-on bag that can carry work stuff and a camera or two. I need the bag to carry a Dell XPS 13 notebook, iPad, audio player with headset, paper, pens etc. I ordered the Air Porter and then ordered some TrekPak customizable foamcore dividers, cutting them to the size I needed to fit the deeper compartment. The TrekPak is incredibly flexible in terms of configurations, and I wound up with the ability to carry three rangefinder cameras with the bodies in slots with lenses in their own slots. Everything seems to fit and I'll be taking it on the road shortly.
