Shoulder Pad

I picked this up (small, ballistic nylon) to add some padding to my Aer Day Sling 4 Max X-Pac, which comes with an unpadded 1.5" seatbelt-style webbing strap. The fit is perfect. It wraps around the strap securely, stays in place, and keeps the bag positioned where I want it.

Comfort is exactly what I was hoping for. The padding takes the pressure off my shoulder without adding bulk, and it makes carrying the sling loaded up noticeably more comfortable on longer wears. Build quality is what you'd expect from WaterField, and the ballistic nylon matches the look of a technical sling well.

If your bag came with a bare webbing strap, this is an easy recommendation.

Money well spent. I as get older the carry needs to get more comfortable. This little should pad just works as advertised.

My sling has a one inch strap which makes it difficult to carry much without it digging into my shoulder. But most shoulder pads are designed to accommodate two inch straps and are sloppy with anything narrower. Waterfield’s is perfect—it fits well over the strap using Velcro, and is comfortable. Exactly what I have been looking for!
