We've been committed to making products in the USA since our start in 1998. Back then, off-shore manufacturing was the prevailing trend, and many sewing shops in San Francisco were shuttered.

We wanted hands-on experience with the products we were making — from the idea phase to final production. We wanted to ensure things were done right, make changes on the fly, and iterate on the design as needed.

Our small-batch production fits the types of products we offer — well-designed, custom-fit items you buy for life. You may have to wait a while for us to make it for you, but you know it will be well-made.

With WaterField American-made gear, you get high quality, long-lasting products. All our designs are original, incorporating details you'll appreciate with each use.

We use only premium, full-grain leather for our bags and accents. It comes from the toughest part of the hide with the tightest grain so it's extremely durable.

Full-grain leather looks better and better as it ages, and your WaterField bag will develop a beautiful patina.

We offer a wide range of Nintendo Switch protective cases and Nintendo Switch carrying cases. Choosing the right one may seem daunting, but you can rest assured that our carrying cases all have a padded structure and soft, fleece-like interiors for great protection. Due to this, you should choose the case with the most aesthetic appeal in your opinion, then choose a case with dimensions that fit your needs. Finally, chose the case whose features work best for your use case. 

Yes, most of our cases will come in at least two sizes; one size for the Switch and Switch Oled, and a smaller size for the Switch Lite. Our popular CitySlicker Case comes in a third size that will accommodate a Switch or Switch Oled outfitted with the third party Skull & Co. Neo Gripcase. 

All of our cases start off as Nintendo Switch protective cases, but thanks to additional straps that we sell, you transform the protective case into a Nintendo Switch carrying case or travel case. Our Nintendo Switch carry cases can be used as standalone game cases since they have extra pockets for auxiliary items and gear.
