Nice Adult Backpack

Makes for a great adult-looking backpack, especially at my (very) business casual job at a manufacturing plant. I was tired of slugging a messenger bag through the airport with a five-lb laptop and whatever other gadgets are with me at the time, and this has been a good fit so far. Holds my Thinkpad L420 tank in the main laptop compartment and a Surface Pro 4 in the auxiliary without issue... the L420 is a tight fit if you have a nine-cell battery but a six-cell makes it slip in with ease. My only complaint is that the front pockets are too small, in that I have average guy hands and yet I find myself needing to make sure my hand is mostly flat before I reach for anything in there; they also hold less than what I was expecting. The zippered compartment right behind makes up for the lack of storage. Got the ballistic w/ chocolate leather.

Super but..

I miss a dividing wall betseen the two zippers. One for notebook and computer stuff and the other for whatever…

been waiting for this!!! i always held off buying the first backpack because i knew it wouldnt hold all the stuff i needed for school. but this one does!!! i can fit 4 textbooks, notebooks, computer, iPad, lunch, drink bottles, wallet, umbrella, random little stuff and it stays the same shape :D great waterproof zippers, everything feels great and looks amazing, i absolutely love waxed canvas. the magnetic closures are surprisingly strong. I LOVE MY NEW BAG!!!!

Awesome backpack!!!

Lightweight, everything has a place, love the light color lining,slips on the travel bag handle with ease, easy on/off your back and carries into the boardroom by the handle professionally. My search for a bag that works for business, travel and casual is over. I found "it" with my black on black new bolt backpack.

This was a birthday present to my son. He told me that he loved it so much that it had replaced his work bag.

Introduced in 2016, the Bolt instantly became a hot seller. Business travelers liked its capacity and external pockets with hidden closures to keep frequently-accessed items (wallets, IDs, passports) secured. The Bolt's classic design will look as handsome years from now as it does today.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR LEATHER

The full grain leather on your Bolt backpack will develop its own beautiful patina over time without you having to do anything to it. We recommend this approach. However, if you want to freshen it up a bit, you can apply a leather conditioner, a bit of wax, or mink oil to it.

Be sure to test on a not-so-obvious spot first; some waxes may alter the look of the leather.

HOW TO FRESHEN UP YOUR CANVAS

Keep your bag looking new by applying wax when you think it needs a little refresh. Although any wax is applicable, you can use Martexin Original Wax which was initially used to coat your canvas bag.
