No skimping. We use full grain, natural leather. It's the toughest part of the hide with the tightest grain. It's also the most expensive. We choose the "distressed" kind, the one that bears the marks of the cow, so you know it's real. But, after a few years and a few more scratches, it develops a patina that's unique to you. 

The ballistic nylon is super rugged and durable; the same material that bullet-proof vests are made of.

We use a custom-made, 1680 denier ballistic nylon that's abrasion- and water-resistant with colorfastness that withstands prolonged sun exposure. It's not stiff, and looks new even after decades of use.

We worked with our supplier to get it just right so it feels luxurious and fresh after years of use.

We use heavy-duty 15-oz. waxed canvas. It has a naturally rugged, distressed look and can be re-waxed to freshen it up. 

The canvas comes from a reputable mill that has produced these waxed fabrics since 1930. It comes coated with a special original wax that won't require much cleaning. Stains can be wiped off with a damp cloth. 

The high-performance X-Pac® textile is durable, waterproof, and lightweight. Developed by an industry-leading manufacturer of advanced, high-quality sailcloth, the X-Pac® fabric withstands various environmental and physical forces. We're exploring this new material in our Sandbox series of Limited Edition productions.

This high-performance textile is made by weaving together two yarn-dyed nylon threads in a unique basketweave creating a vibrant pattern with undertones. It's a classy look that works well in both professional and casual settings. We use this material in our Sleeves , Nintendo Switch cases, and AirPods Max cases.

For our Packable Bags, we combined Taslan — a modern, high-tech woven fabric that feels good and substantial — with a tricot mesh for structure, and added a water-resistant coating. We go to great lengths to find buckles that ensure security and also has a bit of fun to it. We use an authentic heavy-duty paragliding buckle that can hold your body weight and releases quickly.

For lighter loads, we use a highly-secure fidlock buckle that's easy to open, if you know how it's done. Two magnets also make it very easy to close. 

After years of selling bags, we knew the kind of performance we required. We designed these industrial-grade snap hooks and had it customized to our specifications. They swivel easily to accommodate body movements, making it easier and more comfortable to carry a bag. Feel the difference when used with our Supreme Suspension Shoulder Strap. 

Cases like our Magnetic Gaming Cases or the Hudson Leather Crossbody use an ingenious magnetic zipper design made from rare-earth magnets. This closure design keeps your contents secure, but also allows for easy access.

These zipper pulls are easy to grip and slide. Their matte black coating is resilient and easy to handle. When paired with waterproof zippers, they make a very elegant match.

All of our zippered bags and cases are equipped with YKK® water-resistant zippers, which protect your gear from rain or accidental spills.

We've been using this eye-popping, golden rod-colored nylon liner since our first bags in 1998. We've found the color to be quite  helpful in improving the visibility of the interior of backpacks, briefcases, messenger bags, etc. 

We use a very soft fleece liner in our cases and sleeves to keep your device protected and cushioned. Put your hand inside one of our laptop sleeves, and you'll be impressed with the heavenly-soft feel inside. 

We use thick neoprene for our ultra-thin Neo Sleeves. It helps absorb impacts and its smoothness is ideal for a bare laptop .

The Supreme Suspension Strap helps lighten heavy loads. Stretchy on one side using 4mm textured neoprene, the other side has a rubbery grip to keep it from sliding off your shoulders. You can feel the difference the heavier your load is.

Straps with cam-locks lets you adjust the bag while it's on your body. You avoid having to repeatedly take off/ put on your bag just to get the proper length. It's a small detail that comes in very handy when you're in a hurry.
