I previously bought a Switchpack for the original Switch seven years ago and I've been extremely happy with it, so when I got my Switch 2 I immediately went to Waterfield to see if they had made an updated one for the Switch 2. As luck would have it, not only had they made one but a restock was only days away, too. I bought it immediately when it was available again and I received it today.
My first impressions are very positive overall; it feels very nice, it looks great, everything that I would want to pack fits well, etc. I do have one issue, though, and that is the pull tabs for the zippers. The original Switchpack used leather strips instead of metal pull tabs, and so they didn't make much, if any, noise while being carried. These pull tabs, on the other hand, make a grating noise as they bounce and swish against the bag when I am walking around with it. I would have preferred if those zippers could be folded down into place, like the pull handle for the zipper for the mesh compartment, or if it had just used the leather strips as the original did.
I'm sure I'll find some workaround for it—or just get over it
All this whining about zippers aside, it really is still excellent work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone else.
