It was a need that naturally appeared - I was attaching little third party cotton pouches to carry small lunches like sandwiches or snacks to the MacBook sleeve case. However it was too wobbly and got easily twisted. Extra bag wasn’t an option as I commute a lot on foot. Solution was already there - piggyback and what can I say it is great I can fit either a slim lunch box/slim container in it and when my lunch is bigger I do use vacuum sealing machine and it just fits in it. I even manage to fit Magic Mouse in soft case and small pair of headphones in soft case as well in the piggyback’s second compartment. I keep the cables at the back pocket of MacBook sleeve case - plenty of space for charging cables. Piggyback is made of something similar to nylon cordura and my 5 year old MacBook sleeve case made of the same material as well. It looks brand new 5 years on and as shiny as new piggyback.
I already have an Air Duffel Carry-on, a Padded Gear Pouch, an Air Caddy, and a Tech Pocket...why would I need the Piggyback Accessory Pack? Because there are times when I need yet another place for my stuff. The Piggyback Accessory Pack is perfectly sized to attach to the smaller D-rings above the front flap on my Air Duffel yet easily flips back to provide access to the stuff under the front flap. Holds quite a bit of stuff, too. I won’t be using the Pack every day, but on those days when I have more stuff to carry than usual, I know where I can stuff it.
It's the much needed solution for the sleevecase for carrying the power cord, charger and cable as well as the charger for phone, mouse and earphones. Until I got the Piggyback, it was always a job trying to figure out if I should take the charger or mouse since both wouldn't fit.
Would be nicer if it was more than a catch all. Pen holders would help, but in general this product needs to be rethought.
This is a great addition to a sleeve case. Carries everything you need when you are spending a day on the move. There's only one problem; it's smaller than it used to be in prior versions and doesn't carry quite as much and that's my only complaint.
The Piggyback offers flexible storage when used with your SleeveCase. The piggyback comfortably stores your power supply, mouse, hard drive, or phone. It's really up to you what you store inside, all while keeping a thin profile.
