Great bag

Awesome durable bag that helps things stay organized. My only complaint is I wish I could somehow attach it to my iPad Pro bag.

Want them all!

Recently I added to my Waterfield collection with the Gear Pouch Medium, Air Caddy and Bolt Briefcase Large, which I will review separately. I already had the Tech Folio (highly recommended as well), Dell Laptop Sleeve and Piggy-Back. Without gushing too much, I can honestly say I love these bags and cases. The thoughtful design, premium materials and excellent craftsmanship combine to give these products that special feeling that just calls to you when you pick them up.

The Gear Pouch is well explained on the website and it lives up to its description and pictures accurately. I was pondering the size of the case for my small tablet and can confirm that the medium size Gear Pouch will fit an iPad mini or comparable 8" tablet (mine fits Tab S2) in the middle compartment but not in a dedicated sleeve--this is not a problem. There is loads of possibilities with the 4 hand pockets inside as well as the quick access pocket outside. The zippers feel amazing and the locking feature is appreciated. The pouch feels a little longer than needed for my uses, but this allows for the extra two pockets inside. It looks like the new iPad mini case will be more appropriate and might be on my next order. I use the Gear Pouch and Air Caddy as organisers within the Bolt Briefcase or other bags, or on their own. I believe these products will last a lifetime. Thanks Gary and Team!

Great bag, nice people

I'm very happy with the briefcase I bought from Waterfield. It's thoughtfully made, with good finishing touches. And it bridges between a casual bag for weekends to a business briefcase. Plus, the people there are friendly and responsive. Highly recommend.

I show it off to my friends

I was going to buy a cheaper waxed canvas bag on Amazon to put in my Sutter Sling but decided to go for this…I was blown away and happy I went for the real thing. I literally show it off the pouch that holds my adapters to my friends.

Daily Carry Use in a CPL24 Bag

Fits super snug in a CPL24 width wise, which is exactly what I was looking for. Ended up using it for an old film point and shoot, macbook pro charger, some cables, and my battery pack. Things I try not to use, but definitely will need them when I need them. I might swap out the camera for a deck of cards or food though.

Why use gold liner?

First, the liner adds a bit of protection for the different items you carry inside. Second, we chose gold because this lighter, brighter color makes it easier to quickly see the contents inside your pouch.

What is a locking zipper?

When the YKK zipper is folded down the zipper "locks" and prevents the zipper from sliding.

What is the difference between ballistic nylon and waxed canvas?

Both are extremely durable materials. Ballistic nylon can take a pounding and will look the same years down the line. Waxed canvas takes on character and nicks and scrapes giving it a " been around the world" look. If you have multiple Gear Pouches you can mix colors to help identify what's in each pouch.
