Great Minimalist Wallet

This wallet has worked well for me in the relatively short time I’ve had it. I can easily access my main credit card from a side pocket when needed and use “Tap n Go” without touching the card. It will comfortably store 2 cards on each side while the centre pouch securely holds notes and coin if needed. The only niggle is that Australian notes don’t really fit when just folded in half - they need to be folded twice but if you only carry a couple of various denominations that is not really a problem.
It fits nicely in the hand and is lovely to touch. It is also fits very comfortably in a jeans pockets.
The wallet is of course made to the usual high standards of WaterField Designs.

Love the quality, style, and company!

Every product I have ordered from WaterField has been of fantastic quality & amazing style, only surpassed by their customer service. Keep up the great work!!

The Best!

I have owned, and cherish, several of your products. I love the minimalist wallet and recommend highly to anyone. Masters Golf in the background.

to the point

I love this wallet so much and find the initial wearing of the leather from my pocket and hands really satisfying. debit / id / health card w/ a $20 in the fold just in case.

Clyff Minimalist Wallet

First, the wallet is well made and the leather top quality. Its as solid as all your products I have purchased. However, I do have 2 complaints: (1) I think the leather itself is too thick, which makes the wallet bulkier than it needs to be, especially given it is supposed to be "minimalist." (2) The overall size is good, but the space between the stitching and the border takes away some of the space I'd like to have, especially in the middle compartment where I want to tuck dollar bills. Based on the outside dimensions it seems like a bill folded in half would fit the middle slot, but with the stitching it doesn't. Folding bills in thirds is the only way to get the money in there, but that creates more thickness.

What is the beautiful leather used in the Clyff Minimalist Wallet?

The leather we’ve chosen for this minimalist wallet is oil tanned leather. Special oils and waxes were applied during the tanning process to give the leather a very soft and supple feel that is resistant to water and other elements. It is both rugged and soft at the same time and feels really good when held in your hand.

How do you suggest I clean the leather?

Actually, we suggest not doing anything. Part of the beauty of full-grain leather develops as it gets used over time. Leather conditioners will darken and alter the leather, maybe not something you desire. If at some point you want to condition the leather - we suggesting using Mink Oil. This will darken a bit at first - but will keep the leather very nice. You can also spread the oils around and smooth them out a bit with a hair dryer and your hand.
