“Just like every bag Waterfield manufactures, the quality is amazing from the construction to the material.”
This pouch is what I needed to carry my chargers, cables etc. Got the ballistic nylon version. It's well made and should get years of service from it. Pleased with this purchase and would recommend to others.
Perfect - quality material and construction. I can fit all my cords for iPhones and MacBook, spare battery pack and more. Very handy side zip. Looks great.
Fits within my needs and keeps all those smaller items I like to carry in one easy to retrieve location. I keep this pouch inside the main compartment of my Sutter Sling.
I had been searching for a perfect pouch to carry my Macbook charger, SSD, mouse, and other little EDCs. After watching a video by Chase Reeves where he raved about it I decided to give it a try. I love how much I can put inside and it still keeps its low profile. Its made with exceptional craftsmanship and quality materials. I highly recommend purchasing this pouch, you won't regret it!
Thought I'd use the product for a few days before leaving a review. This was my first purchase of this kind after watching/reading two reviews online and I do not regret it at all. Its a versatile product and for me, it does exactly what I wanted it to do; carry all my EDC tech(hdd's, power bank, etc) in a slim profile pouch. You can just feel the quality of the material used. I just love the way it feels in my hand( i got the brown), its soft but yet I have a good grip on pouch. The YKK zipper is great and it does lock as Gary mentions in the video.
The only problem I see myself having is that I will be ordering a few more products from Waterfield.
C'est la vie.
Why use gold liner?
First, the liner adds a bit of protection for the different items you carry inside. Second, we chose gold because this lighter, brighter color makes it easier to quickly see the contents inside your pouch.
What is a locking zipper?
When the YKK zipper is folded down the zipper "locks" and prevents the zipper from sliding.
What is the difference between ballistic nylon and waxed canvas?
Both are extremely durable materials. Ballistic nylon can take a pounding and will look the same years down the line. Waxed canvas takes on character and nicks and scrapes giving it a " been around the world" look. If you have multiple Gear Pouches you can mix colors to help identify what's in each pouch.
