All in on Waterfield waxed canvas bags

Two years ago I purchased the Vitesse waxed canvas messenger which has proven to be the most rugged, reliable, and best-designed messenger bag I’ve ever used. I carry it every day in all sorts of weather, and it shows virtually no wear. It’s not waterproof, but the waxed canvas is reliably water resistant. So recently I purchased the waxed canvas magnetic iPad sleeve. It shows all the quality I expect from Waterfield. It has this lovely detail placing leather where one would carry it. I also purchased a toiletries bag and electronics accessories bag. I love Waterfield and believe they have the best designed, best constructed everyday bags available anywhere today. The fact that they’re made in San Francisco is amazing. But let me tell you why that matters: a year ago, a good friend in San Francisco was paralyzed in a bicycle accident. After a few months of readjusting to his new abilities, he needed a new computer bag that he could strap to his wheelchair. He went down to Waterfield’s studio and they modified their executive brief to his specifications. That doesn’t happen if your bags are made overseas. Made in America matters. It’s not easy to do and remain competitive, but Waterfield does it and does it well. That’s why I’ll continue to be a customer and think you should be too!

FINALLY!! A Magnetic Laptop Sleeve

It’s great to finally find on referred from a friend who understands my aesthetic. That it’s made locally in the States is big plus. Usually I tend to buy from other manufacturers for great construction and raw material properties. The Magnetic Laptop Sleeve fits my Mac Neo perfectly and is streamlined and protective. Thank you!

Amazing Quality

I was hesitant on the price mostly because you never know what you’re going to get sometimes online. I received this laptop sleeve and can now see why. It's the classic canvas with modern sensibilities. This new textile combines the soft touch of canvas with the high-performance characteristics of the X-Pac® laminate. 

 

You can tell the subtle difference from traditional waxed canvas by the X crosshatches. Available only in black.

The Magnetic Laptop Sleeve in traditional waxed canvas has a rugged, yet handsome and approachable vibe. 

 

The heavy-duty 15-oz. waxed canvas comes from a reputable mill in the U.S. that has produced these waxed fabrics since the 1930s. The canvas has a naturally distressed look with a special coating that won't need much cleaning. Stains can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

The Magnetic Laptop Sleeve combines rugged waxed canvas, indestructable ballistic nylon, and dense, shock-absorbing neoprene into one super-protective sleeve.

DETAILS MATTER

 

The generous, full-grain leather grip on the Magnetic Laptop Sleeve serves an important purpose: it lets you comfortably hold the Sleeve so you can easily remove your laptop from the case.

CARING FOR YOUR WAXED CANVAS

Although this video is for the AiPods Max Shield Case, the maintenance also applies the the Magnetic Laptop Sleeve. 

HOW TO FRESHEN UP YOUR CANVAS

Keep your Magnetic Laptop Sleeve looking new by applying wax when you think it needs a little refresh. Although any wax is applicable, you can use  use Martexin Original Wax which was initially used to coat the canvas on your sleeve.
