Best bag *ever*

I’ve tried a whole lot of bags over the years and haven’t loved any as much as this one. The storage system is great, especially the two padded laptop/tablet compartments and the smaller internal pockets. The size (I got compact) is also perfect, my 14” MBP and iPad mini both fit perfectly, as well as my massive collection of cables. I love the key strap too, though I wish it was a little stretchy so keys wouldn’t have to be detached. The clasp is also very fun and satisfying, and can be easily closed/opened with one hand. My *only* issue is that the leather strap cover thing that comes with as a “free gift” is a little uncomfortable at first since it doesn’t have any padding—in my case, the buttons pushed into my collarbone and hurt a little until it was broken in. All in all, I would highly recommend this bag; the quality matches the price and the grizzly leather is absolutely beautiful, I’ve gotten multiple compliments in just two weeks of owning it :)

Great bag but…

I just received my black full sized Executive bag and love everything about it from the workmanship (fantastic), clasp (wow) and overall quality. Likely going to return it though because my company-provided 17” Dell laptop doesn’t fit in the sleeve. Really sucks because this was exactly the bag I was looking for. Don’t own a Dell brick? Go for it. You won’t be disappointed.

Simple and functional

Incredible quality and unique look

I cannot say enough positive about my Executive Leather Messenger. It has great holding capacity, carries my new MacBook Pro 14" very comfortably and safely and it looks great as well. This is my second Waterfield Bag, (I bought my first back in 2010 and it still looks and feels great in 2024). I bought this new bag as I wanted something suitable for the board room and air travel that looked professional but still cool and stylish. The Executive Leather Messenger is all those things and more. Plus the distressed leather feels awesome and smells great.

Outstanding Work Bag

My second WF bag - just as good as first. Quality superb, fits ipad pro and laptop well. Glad I bought the larger size as smaller would be a bit tight for day to day use.

CARING FOR YOUR LEATHER BAG

We usually recommend not doing anything to the full-grain leather of your bag, letting it develop it's own beautiful patina over time. However, you may want to freshen it up a bit with a leather conditioner. The leather may darken a bit, so test the reaction first on a spot that's not highly visible, like the bottom of the bag. For the distressed leather that we use, you can also spread the oils around and smooth them out a bit with heat from a hair dryer.
