Design details

TECH ORGANIZER + OFFICE BACKPACK

This backpack is designed for professionals who carry a lot of tech gear for their jobs. The tech folio compartment has multiple pockets to organize easy-to-lose items like dongles or SD cards, and larger pockets for cables and battery packs. This folio dedicated for gadgets and small electronics ensures that you'll always be prepared with the right tools to troubleshoot the unexpected.

The other side of the backpack is the office section with two padded pockets to protect two devices, similar to other WaterField backpacks. The spacious compartment also stores a water bottle and can be used for packing clothes and toiletries when embarking on short getaways.

Both sides unzip all the way around for easy packing/un-packing. With the double zipper pulls, each side can also be secured with a small lock if needed.

NEW MINIMALIST SIZE

For minimalists who carry fewer items, the new Slim size has a narrower office section. The tech folio section is the same as the Standard size.

ALL-AROUND PROTECTION

The Tech Folio Backpack is surrounded with light foam for structure and additional protection. This framework keeps the Backpack's profile sleek and clean, and when packed appropriately, also keeps the backpack upright.

DETAILS THAT MATTER

After twenty years of making stylish bags functional and comfortable for all-day use, we've incorporated small details that have big impact.

The handle is wrapped in full-grain leather so the Tech Folio Backpack is comfortable to carry and won't dig into your fingers. The straps can be discreetly tucked away in the back when not in use. The side pleats of the front panel keep bulky items in check, and the front pocket is secured with a strong magnet so you can easily slip your fingers inside to retrieve your items.

Each compartment has internal top pockets so items inside can be easily retrieved by zipping open just a bit at the top, not all the way down. And, waterproof zippers help secure everything inside.

Customers who participated in our Next Generation Gear Case Community Design helped develop a collection of products designed for carrying and organizing tech gear.

The Tech Folio Backpack and the popular Tech Folio Brief are two results from that project. They both have super-sized tech folio sections to accommodate multiple gadgets and electronics.

HOW TO FRESHEN UP YOUR CANVAS

Keep your backpack looking new by applying wax when you think it needs a little refresh. Although any wax is applicable, you can use Martexin Original Wax which was initially used to coat your canvas bag.

CARING FOR YOUR LEATHER AND WAXED CANVAS

If you have the waxed canvas and chocolate leather version of the Tech Folio Backpack, Gary shows how you can maintain these materials so they’ll look great over time. We use full grain Roughman Leather for your bag which has oils that respond well to heat.

Although this video is for the AirPods Max Shield Case, the maintenance also applies to your bag.
