Everything I was looking for. Solved my iPad challenge

The reason for this purchase was to replace the new iPad Pro keyboard with something that worked reliably. I love the new iPad keyboard design but it has serious design flaws and will fail from 6 - 12 months after purchase. Probably down to the on/off reed switch in the hinge.

So I revereted back to the bluetooth keyboard, which significantly improved now that it is rechargeable. But the chellenge then was how to go to meetings with just my iPad and keyboard, which previously was a neat single unit.

The solution is this bag. The iPad fits inside with the protective cover/stand on perfectly and there is plenty of room in the rear pocket for the keyboard and Apple Pencil. And the bag then sits neatly in my Saddleback Leather briefcase.

I only have 2 recommendations for improvement.

1) The pictures show the Apple Pencil neatly stored in the rear pocket, and to be fair it does sit there, but there is nothing to hold it in place and it keeps falling over. A stiched in loop would be nice to help keep it located
2) A personal pet peeve of mine. Velcro is great when it is new, but will ultimately fail. MAgnetic of nothing at all would suit me better

Like an Armored Truck for your IPad

The first thing I do when I purchase a new gadget is check to see if Waterfield has something to carry it in. I trust all my electronics to their products and the SleeveCase is no exception. My 10.5 Pro fits in it snugly, encased in thick material and just enough extra additions for my necessary extras.

Simple and practical

I have been looking for a simple sleeve to carry my tablet around and came across this. I opted for one with shoulder strap so I don't need to carry it on my hand all the time. So far, the experience has been nothing but positive. It's pretty light and the back pocket has enough room to take a spare battery with me. And more importantly, it appears to be very durable, so I hope I can use this for the next few years.

Great case!

Love this little case for my iPad Pro, it's perfect!

Is this case TSA friendly?

Yes, this case is TSA friendly. Your laptop case is a designated laptop-only case that you can lay flat on the X-ray belt.

What is a Smart Cover versus a Smart Case?

Both cases are sold by Apple. The Smart Cover is the magnetic screen cover, it doesn't cover the backside of the iPad. The Smart Case protects both the screen and the rear of your iPad.

Will my iPad Air 2 work with iPad Pro 9.7" Cases?

Yes, the iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro 9.7" have the same exterior dimensions.

What is the loop on the bottom of the SleeveCase?

The loop is to hold on to when removing your laptop - rather than squeezing the SleeveCase and device inside that you are trying to remove - the finger hold makes this work better.

What is a Suspension Strap?

The Suspension Strap is optional and allows you to use the SleeveCase as a stand-alone case. The strap is removable and snaps onto metal D-rings. The underside of the strap is lined with grippy material to keep it set on your shoulder when moving around.

What does D-rings only mean?

D-rings are the metal hardware sewn to the SleeveCase for the optional strap to attach to. If you already own a strap or want to leave the option to add a strap later, you can purchase the D-ring hardware only. If you opt for the suspension strap, the D-rings are included.

I need more storage than the rear pocket offers. What should I do?

The Piggyback comfortably stores your power supply, mouse, hard drive, or phone. Hook the piggyback onto your SleeveCase (D-rings required) when you need the storage and un-hook when you don't.
