Never Arrived, Never Tried

For unknown reason it had gone to Alaska and then China when I live in Korea. It’s been 14 days since the ship date, and the parcel is stopping over a 3rd country so nobody knows when it will arrive. Didn’t know FedEx International Connect Plus provide this laggy delivery service. If I can get this product I will write a review, but for now this is the experience I’ve had.

A Mini Miracle

This cuddly case follows on from the success of the Mac Studio Shield Case - which I purchased a couple of years back and have taken all around the world. But the Mac Studio is heavy and I began to tire of its weight, so as soon as Apple announced the M4 Mac Mini I knew I had to get a couple for my company. But how to carry it around safely - especially on plane flights? Waterfield Designs to the rescue! This "Mini Shield Case" ticks all the boxes - and it's Mega cute as well.

The build quality is exceptional - we take this for granted - but the versatility goes beyond what I'd expected. Not only is there that secret Apple AirTag slot, but I can even fit a bulky UK power plug inside (bit of a squeeze, but it will go).

For the record, I bought each of the two designs: the brown canvas/leather and the black ballistic; both are superb and you can't go wrong with either.

Finally: I was really impressed by the international shipping! It was the first time I tried shipping to my UK address and delivery was just three days - amazing.

Thanks to everyone at Waterfield Designs for listening to our feedback and coming out with yet another brilliant product. Thanks also for the superlative customer service - it's why we keep coming back (these were my 24th and 25th items ordered over the last 15 years).

Great case for the Mini

I have a bicycle bag from Waterfield as well that I love so when I found out that you had a case from my new Mac Mini I decided to try it. It' great, very well made and sturdy. Looking forward to traveling with it. Thanks.

Design details

RUGGED CONSTRUCTION

The small and mighty Mac mini gets ultra protection with the Mac mini Shield Case. Constructed from rugged ballistic nylon or waxed canvas, it provides a secure storage area for the Mac mini + accessories. A full-grain leather panel adds an extra level of protection and gives it a polished, professional look. 

 

 

 

A LUXURIOUS COCOON

A soft fleece-like interior lining surrounds your Mac mini, protecting it from bumps and scratches. A layer of closed-cell firm foam is sandwiched between the plush interior and the water-resistant exterior fabric (waxed canvas or ballistic nylon) exterior for added protection. 

 

Custom-fit for the 5"x5" device, the Shield Case keeps the Mac mini snug and in place for safe transport. Cords and accessories are kept separately in their own pockets. 

 

 

CARING FOR YOUR MAC MINI CASE

Gary shows how you can maintain the full-grain leather and the waxed canvas of your Mac mini case so it will stay great looking over time. For the chocolate leather panel, we use Roughman leather which has oils that respond well to heat. 

 

P.S. Although the video shows Gary caring for the AirPods Max Shield Case, this method also works well for any of WaterField's full-grain leather and waxed canvas products.
