"For those who want a classic leather bag that is the perfect size for the diminutive Surface Go look no further than the Outback Solo."

"For the first time, I’m genuinely excited about the bag I’m carrying. I have what I need, and a minimal messenger silhouette to match. If the concept of a minimal daily carry — that gives constant little reminders of how special it is — appeals to you, I strongly recommend the Outback Solo by WaterField."
This is unbelievable! No need for a sleeve anymore! This thing covers it all! The perfect Solo Case! Thanks! Definitely five ⭐️
This Solo bag perfectly fits my need to easily, and stylishly, carry my IPad, phone, glasses, wallet and keys when out and about. I am currently traveling in Europe and it has been ideal to keep passports, tickets + the above mentioned items safe as we navigate airports and train travel. My wife is delighted that I can now carry my own stuff, and she loves the look of the Solo and that great leather smell.
Thanks Gary, this bag is exactly what I was looking for.
The Outback Solo #30 is a well constructed bag. I love the magnetic clasp and the pull loop at the bottom! They both work extremely well. I have my iPad Pro in an Otterbox Symmetry 360 case and it fits nicely within the bag (albeit just a wee bit tight). I am also able to fit the Apple Magic keyboard in the font packet (as long as I put it in the pocket before I put in the iPad. After searching for a good bag for several weeks, I have found this bag to be the best available.
There are three items that I wish were slightly different. First, I wish the front pocket wasn't so tightly bound at the top. A little more slack would make getting items into and out of the pocket much more convenient. Second, I wish the strap rings were on the side of the bag instead of the back where they block the back pocket. (I realize that the rings were put there so they can be hidden when using the bag without the straps but it makes the back pocket considerably less viable). And finally, I wish that the pocket on the back and the cover flap was sewn a little taller so that you could place papers in the back pocket without them being constrained (damaged) by the top flap and the unfortunately placed strap rings. If Waterfield were to update the bag with these few changes, it would make a good bag, hands-down, the best possible.
Is the bag water resistant?
The waxed canvas and leather are both water resistant and should keep the device inside dry should you find yourself without an umbrella in the rain. However, we do not recommend taking your Outback Solo for a swim.
Does the flap open up on its own?
The magnetic closure keeps the flap securely fastened on the outer front of your bag.
What else can I carry in the Solo?
The Solo was designed to transport just the essentials— the device, power, a phone and wallet. However, people have put a small tablet in one of the pockets. In a pinch, this can also be used as a handsome general purpose carry-all if the device is taken out.
