If you're taking along your iPad mini and don't want to carry it in a big bag, you can use the compact, lightweight Shinjuku Crossbody instead.

 

The Full Size Shinjuku Crossbody fits an iPad mini perfectly in its own padded compartment. When sightweeing, going to the museum, or attending an art class, you can stay nimble by carrying just what you need. 
 

 

 

STAY SECURE


When visiting public spaces with your Shinjuku Crossbody, we've designed a clever feature to give you peace of mind. You can attach the bag's strap to your chair using the paragliding-style buckle located at the end of the strap.  

When your attention is elsewhere and someone takes your Shinjuku Crossbody by mistake, they won't be able to pull it away from your chair without you noticing.

CANVAS GOES HIGH TECH

 

X-Pac® Canvas, a high-performance textile that blends the durable, lightweight, and water-resistance of X-Pac® with a soft canvas feel, makes an ideal choice for the Shinjuku Crossbody, a bag designed to be comfortable, lightweight, and stylish. 

 

TRADITIONAL 15 OZ. WAXED CANVAS

 

Not all waxed canvas bags are created equal. Lower quality bags use 6 oz. canvas. The majority designated as “durable” use 12 oz. canvas. At 15 oz., our waxed canvas exceeds what is commonly sold in the market, yet it's still lightweight. Its naturally rugged, distressed look and can be re-waxed to freshen it up. 

We source our canvas from a reputable U.S. mill that has produced these fabrics since 1930. This specialized textile is coated with Martexin Original Wax™ and shouldn't require much cleaning. Stains can be wiped off with a damp cloth. 

HOW TO FRESHEN UP CANVAS


If you have the Shinjuku Crossbody in traditional waxed canvas, you can keep it looking like new by applying wax when you think it needs a little refresh. Although you can use any wax, you may want to try Martexin Original Wax™ which was initially used to coat your canvas bag.
