Made of durable, lightweight, water-resistant X-Pac® textile with full-grain leather accents, the look is modern with a professional-meets-sporty vibe. It's so light that most of the bag's weight will come from the items you've packed.

This is the first product from our new X-Air Collection — a line of lightweight, feature-rich bags for people who travel with their tech.

I love this bag! The quality and craftsmanship of this bag is top notch. It’s perfect for throwing my laptop and iPad in the bag along with all of my other tech items I travel with on a daily basis. I have plenty of room to spare for a change of clothes or whatever I need to carry with me. Aesthetically, the bag is so attractive and stylish. Its exceeded all my expectations.

Great air travel and everyday bag

I waited to get a couple of flights under my belt before reviewing the bag. It fit perfectly under the seat in front of me on both aircraft I've used it on, including a 737-800 and A319. It's very convenient to access my water bottle while under the seat, as well as items in the areas next to the pass through, the rear pocket and the front Fidlock pockets. The light weight of the bag is great. On international flights, where weight is a factor, this bag can easily carry more than average.

I also use it as an everyday bag on my commute and appreciate that it has a lot of room for my tech items, including a MacBook Pro 16, iPad Pro 11, and related gear. I typically put a 1.5L Nalgene in one pocket and my coffee travel mug in the other one. The Fidlock buckles are very nice and I wouldn't want any other type of fastener on the front pockets.

Overall, I recommend it for both air travel and commuting. Waterfield's quality, as always, is top notch, and their warranty can't be beat. It's great to see that it is made in the U.S.A. by a small business that takes good care of their customers.

Perfect under-seat solution

I recently received this duffel in Black. I hesitated with this purchase. I have a closet filled with backpacks, duffels, and carry on luggage. This duffel fills a niche. Under-seat with the potential to carry a few days worth of clothing while being VERY lightweight. There are times when a backpack is just too casual -- the X-Air has clean lines; backpack straps just don't cut it when it comes to professional travel (at least in my world).

Great bag

Light and spacious as advertised. Magnetic clips are really cool. Excellent warranty, but the quality is so good you will probably never need it.

X-air duffel review

This will quickly become the go to travel bag. The light weight and construction are outstanding. Really like the new mag lock buckles.
