Great Bag

Great bag, and just what I was after. I was not disappointed. If I had a suggestion it would be to add a pen loop and a keyring loop inside. Nice!

Almost perfect small EDC

Great EDC bag, The waxed canvas looks and feels fantastic in hand. The interior gold lining gives a classy look. The strap hangs properly and swivels to keep the bag near horizontal when worn crossbody. (You can see this in the pictures). A Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 (or a similar sized tablet) will fit in the main compartment (Not in the padded area). If you carry this way, put a case on the tablet. Since the bag is a rectangle you can carry it as a gear pouch within a larger bag.
Suggestions for improvement - 1. Add a top handle. 2. Add pockets and a pen loop in the front compartment. 3. Change the interior pocket layout to 3 side by side pockets instead of 2. (Like it was in the Padded Gear Pouch).

TRADITIONAL 15 OZ. WAXED CANVAS

 

Not all waxed canvas bags are created equal. Lower quality bags use 6 oz. canvas. The majority designated as “durable” use 12 oz. canvas. At 15 oz., our waxed canvas exceeds what is commonly sold in the market, yet it's still lightweight. Its naturally rugged, distressed look and can be re-waxed to freshen it up. 

We source our canvas from a reputable U.S. mill that has produced these fabrics since 1930. This specialized textile is coated with Martexin Original Wax™ and shouldn't require much cleaning. Stains can be wiped off with a damp cloth. 

HOW TO FRESHEN UP CANVAS


If you have the Shinjuku Crossbody in traditional waxed canvas, you can keep it looking like new by applying wax when you think it needs a little refresh. Although you can use any wax, you may want to try Martexin Original Wax™ which was initially used to coat your canvas bag.
