Design details

FULL-GRAIN LEATHER

No skimping. We use full grain, natural leather. It's the toughest part of the hide with the tightest grain. It's also the most expensive and lasts the longest.

We use “distressed” leather that bears the marks of the cow, so you can tell it's the real thing. Over the years, you'll leave your own marks, too, and the gorgeous patina that develops will bear your hallmark.

DETAILS MATTER

Our attention to details make all of our WaterField bags stylish, functional, and comfortable for years to come.

For the Executive Leather Laptop Briefcase, you'll appreciate the leather handles which get more comfortable over time. The triangular hardware keeps the handles, and the bag, from rocking back and forth when you walk. The double zipper pulls let you open your briefcase from any angle, and you can also secure it shut with a small lock if necessary.

CARING FOR YOUR LEATHER BAG

We usually recommend not doing anything to the full-grain leather of your bag, letting it develop it's own beautiful patina over time. However, you may want to freshen it up a bit with a leather conditioner. The leather may darken a bit, so test the reaction first on a spot that's not highly visible, like the bottom of the bag. For the distressed leather that we use, you can also spread the oils around and smooth them out a bit with heat from a hair dryer.
