Great Bag

Although it is a little smaller than I had imagined it, it works extremely well for what I need it for! Mainly used as a gym bag, but I have used it as an overnight bag, and it has served me very well so far! As a frequent Waterfield Bag buyer, they continue to impress me!

My favorite and the perfect Waterfield bag of all

I am so happy with this bag. I’ve purchased several Waterfield bags over the last decade or more, and am always pleasantly surprised when each one goes above and beyond its marketing promise.

Once again I’ve found a high quality, good looking bag that is easy to carry and filled with utility.

The shoe compartment is my favorite part of the bag, keeps my size 11 gym shoes separated from all other clothing and content. The lock tether and pocket keeps my locker lock covered inside the bag so it doesn’t scratch my car when getting in and out as it did with my last bag. The dirty clothes bag was something I didn’t expect and is great for keeping soiled and clean clothes separate. This bag has a place for everything, my gym gloves, toiletries, gym clothing and a change of underwear.

I didn’t expect to like the carry handles as I normally use a strap, but I carry the bag using the handles over my shoulder and they stay put due to the construction, ingenious.

In short, this is my favorite bag thus far from Waterfield! J

The Flex Travel Gym Bag - The end of a long quest

For me, the new Flex Travel Gym Bag is the perfect gym bag. The size of my previous gym bag was not ideal. It was also too soft/flexible overall and only had smaller pockets in relatively unfavourable places. My new Waterfield Gym Bag, on the other hand, is perfect. It is shorter but slightly wider than my previous bag and has the ideal proportions for me. It also fits better in the gym locker. The canvas material is stiffer and the bag retains its shape better. The smaller pockets are perfectly positioned for me to store my iPhone, keys and gym access card. The inside pocket for the separate shoe compartment is also a perfect solution. I rarely need this function, so it's perfect that this inner pocket can be stowed away so that it doesn't get in the way. However, if you do need to transport dirty shoes, it is ready in a flash. If you also cycle to the gym, you should consider ordering an additional shoulder strap so that you can carry the bag over your shoulder and keep your hands free. I spent a long time searching in vain for my ideal gym bag. With the new Flex Travel Gym Bag from Waterfield, I finally found what I was looking for.
