Absolutely fantastic product, as usual by WaterField! If I’m being extremely nit-picky, I’d love a few more ‘features’ inside, like a small zip pocket, maybe on the backside, for items like an airtag or other small items I’d want better secured, but in reality, this bags fully deserves all 5 stars for its quality and overall satisfaction, just as the other products I have from this company.

Not for me, but my son loves it!

I purchased this bag wanting something close to a traditional messenger bag. And though the Vitesse delivers on that front, the lack of organization really killed it for me. I feel the only thing this bag was missing is the front zip pockets that’s available on the larger sized version. I also think the bag could have used the gold lining that’s used in other Waterfield bags. Without it the bag did come off a tad cheap feeling. All that said it to still a wonderful messenger. It’s insanely comfortable to wear and quite stylish. Though the bag wasn’t for me, my son absolutely loves it. He’s at the age where he doesn’t have a lot of things he carry with him but that doesn’t stop him from taking this bag everywhere. To him it is the coolest bag ever and that is more than enough for me.

The Goldilocks bag!

I wanted a bag for my every day carry (book + journal) but also be able to pop my MacBook Air in when needed. I feel like I looked at every permutation of a small sling bag and nothing fit the bill. Too big, too small, too tech, not enough pockets, too modern, not modern enough. It was a tall order, but I took a chance on this bag and it's already my new favorite. Fits great when I'm running around town, fits everything I need, and sits nicely on my back when I'm on my bike without feeling like I'm slogging a messenger bag.

HEAVY-DUTY 15 OZ. WAXED CANVAS

Not all waxed canvas bags are created equal. Lower quality bags use 6 oz. canvas. The majority designated as “durable” use 12 oz. canvas. At 15 oz., our waxed canvas exceeds what is commonly sold in the market, yet it's still lightweight. It has a naturally rugged, distressed look and can be re-waxed to freshen it up.

The canvas comes from a reputable U.S. mill that has produced these fabrics since 1930. This specialized textile is coated with Martexin Original Wax™ and shouldn't require much cleaning. Stains can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

FULL-GRAIN LEATHER ACCENTS

Premium materials are used where they matter most. Full-grain leather reinforces key high-touch areas of the Vitesse Cycling Musette, including the rear grab handle, adding both refinement and lasting durability.

Our distressed leather retains the natural markings of the hide, giving every piece its own character. With use, these leather accents develop an even richer patina, becoming more distinctive over time.
