I bought this sling in black on black to match my executive pro backpack and tech folio of the same colorway as a matching set when I travel. I usually travel with a lot of tech, and the sling was a great addition when I want to slim down my bag and only take what I need in the moment. It sits well on the back and can hold a lot of stuff if you want to pack it out. I do wish the sutter came in black and chocolate leather as I would have gotten them all in that colorway. Also i wished the added handle and the separate leather shoulder strap came together as an add on for $25 instead of each being $25. Adding $50 to the existing price for these touches almost prices it out against other slings but the quality and uniformity made it worth it. My only wish now is if they make this in an all leather edition. I’d be sold all over again.
I purchased the tech folio brief in black on black to match my executive pro backpack and sutter sling. I travel and I carry a lot of tech with me and the tech folio matched with the executive pro backpack is just what I needed. The organization is amazing and even when loaded neither is too heavy to carry. Since my environment changes from the office to the field, having the ballistic nylon was the better choice but I must admit that I like the wax canvas look better. Overall I’m pleased with the quality and price, knowing that it was made here in the USA.
Sigh of relief as the iPad Pro case for 11" model was cut big enough to accommodate keyboard case. My old iPad case was not as generous. Happy me.

I’ve been a customer forever. One thing I am mad about is the Finn compact wallet. Last week, I replaced my original Finn with a new one. It’s a great value and I hope the leather in this new one ages as perfectly as the old.

Bag is high quality and beautiful, like everything else from Waterfield. I will say that the pictures on the website made the bag look lighter than it appears in person. That's the only thing dinging it a star.
I'm really impressed by the materials quality and overall construction of the bag. It's quite comfortable to wear and has plenty of space for all my grad school essentials. The bag being made in NorCal where I'm from makes me love it even more! Will be sticking to SF bags going forward!

Easy to fit under seat on airplane. I wish you made a 100% leather version.
My sling has a one inch strap which makes it difficult to carry much without it digging into my shoulder. But most shoulder pads are designed to accommodate two inch straps and are sloppy with anything narrower. Waterfield’s is perfect—it fits well over the strap using Velcro, and is comfortable. Exactly what I have been looking for!
Five stars for now — no complaints yet, though durability remains to be seen. The bag looks sharp and holds more than expected. I wear it with a suit, and it pulls off the look well.
One minor gripe: the zippers feel surprisingly light for a $400 bag. The website lists YKK hardware, which I have no reason to doubt, but they lack the solid, heavy feel I've come to expect from premium bags. Time will tell whether they hold up. Otherwise, a happy purchase.
I’m not sure why the previous reviewer left a negative review without giving the piece a fair chance. Mine came the other day, and I can’t wait to use it! It is a perfect complement to my Lexington briefcase, and the two together will make a perfect roadtrip duo. I have been a Waterfield customer for a LONG time, and I have many bags, but this will quickly be in my short rotation of my go-to travel bags! Well done, Waterfield team.
