Excellent Bag

I'm a long time customer. High quality products worth the price. I had a computer bag for over 15 years when one of the plastic fasteners fatigued out after years of constant use. I asked for a replacement part, they had me ship the bag back to them and they repaired it for free. I've bought at least ten products over the years and will always give SF Bags my business because they stand by their products. The Shinjuku Sling is a quality bag and it's perfect for what I need right now

I Didn’t Expect to Love It This Much

I was tentative at first. I wasn’t sure I wanted to carry a sling bag, but with my new, more fitted pants in technical fabrics, I wanted to get things out of my pockets. After just a day or two with this bag, I was hooked.

Now it goes almost everywhere with me. I keep my WaterField Via Wallet, iPhone 15 Pro Max, Raptor key fob on a WaterField leather AirPod keychain, a soft case for sunglasses, spare charging cord, Shout Wipe, a few tissues, eyedrops, and a Benchmade pocket knife in it daily. The layout makes everything easy to access, and the bag stays close to the body without feeling bulky. All of that fits into the internal or zip pockets, so aside from the sunglasses, the whole middle section is still available for use.

Speaking of the middle section, it *can* fit a specialty water bottle, as shown in the product info, but that takes up most of the space. Even so, there’s still room for plenty of smaller essentials. I liked it so much, I ended up buying the Shinjuku Crossbody for times when I need more capacity. That even got me to pull the trigger on an iPad mini, but that’s for another review. Fortunately, I got a Crossbody before they sold out after launch.

I bought the X-Pac in Black, and even though I think some of the other colorways offer more visual interest, the Black goes with everything, so it was the safe play.

Quality Sling

Discovered how great it is keeping my pockets empty and this bag is a great addition to my collection that I feel comfortable wearing to even nicer events.

EDC bag

Great everyday carry bag. Quality is excellent. Hold my wallet, AirPods, batter pack, cellphone, and a pair of sunglasses. Could probably fit a little more, but I like to maintain the slim profile.

CARING FOR THE LEATHER

You can freshen up the look of the full-grain leather panel and the traditional waxed canvas (not X-Pac®) on your Shinjuku Sling by applying heat from a blowdryer. We use full grain Roughman leather which has oils that respond well to heat.
