I'm a big fan of Waterfield's designs, especially the Vitesse Messenger Bag. It has just enough pockets to stay organized without overcomplicating things. The metal buckles are a solid upgrade. It looks great too simple and well made. Definitely worth it.

HIDDEN PHONE POCKET FOR EASY ACCESS

Details matter. A phone pocket of soft micro suede is sewn at the right height so your phone doesn't fall to the bottom.

HEAVY-DUTY 15 OZ. WAXED CANVAS

Not all waxed canvas bags are created equal. Lower quality bags use 6 oz. canvas. The majority designated as “durable” use 12 oz. canvas. At 15 oz., our waxed canvas exceeds what is commonly sold, yet it's still lightweight. It has a naturally rugged, distressed look and can be re-waxed to freshen it up.

The canvas comes from a reputable U.S. mill that has produced these fabrics since 1930. This specialized textile is coated with Martexin Original Wax™ and shouldn't require much cleaning. Stains can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

HOW TO FRESHEN UP YOUR CANVAS

Keep your bag looking new by applying wax when you think it needs a little refresh. Although any wax is applicable, you can use Martexin Original Wax™ which was initially used to coat your canvas bag.

"As a bike messenger on the streets of Boston, my messenger bag was my mobile office. Simply designed with one roomy interior, it carried my daily ncessities: packages, lunch, change of clothes, and everything else.

When designing the Vitesse Messenger, we kept it true to its origins and added modern touches to make it more comfortable, durable, and stylish. When carrying laptops and tablets, be sure to put them in their own protective sleeves."
