The quality of this bag is amazing, the canvas is very thick and durable, and it has a great carrying capacity as well. Also the bag sits very comfortably along your back

A beautiful bag

Just got my Vitesse backpack a couple weeks ago and absolutely loving it so far, the bag is very comfortable and well built, that being said I do feel for those who tend to pack their bags to the brim going for the larger 'Vitesse brief' might be a better option, given the padded shoulder strap, as well as the overall larger size.
That being said I'm quite impressed with the quality 8/10.

Excellent quality and look, but some can be improved to be perfect

I bought both the Vitesse Cycling Musette and the Vitesse Messenger Bag. I love the excellent quality and outlook. For the size of the Vitesse Messenger Bag, large and heavy stuff will be carried in the bag need to be considered. I felt shoulder stress and uncomfortable for less than one hour of carry.

Suggest:
1. A wider shoulder strap (8 cm) or design a better shoulder pad.
2. The shoulder pad available in the store is not suitable for these bags. Plastic ones are only available in black color. The leather one is too short and looks will be easily moved around during moving.
3. The Piggyback Accessory Pack can't be used on these two bags. Hope to have an additional design to make it possible.
4. I hope to have a replaceable shoulder strap design.

Chic functionality

I'm not really a messenger and I rarely ride a bike to work but I love my Messenger satchel! Easy to store many items, durable and tres chic!

HEAVY-DUTY 15 OZ. WAXED CANVAS

Not all waxed canvas bags are created equal. Lower quality bags use 6 oz. canvas. The majority designated as “durable” use 12 oz. canvas. At 15 oz., our waxed canvas exceeds what is commonly sold, yet it's still lightweight. It has a naturally rugged, distressed look and can be re-waxed to freshen it up.

The canvas comes from a reputable U.S. mill that has produced these fabrics since 1930. This specialized textile is coated with Martexin Original Wax™ and shouldn't require much cleaning. Stains can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

HOW TO FRESHEN UP YOUR CANVAS

Keep your bag looking new by applying wax when you think it needs a little refresh. Although any wax is applicable, you can use Martexin Original Wax™ which was initially used to coat your canvas bag.
