Best case I’ve found for MacBook Pro

I’m the kind of person that will research a product for weeks/months before making a purchase. This relatively low price of the neo sleeve made me question the quality (thinking you get what you pay for) but I couldn’t have been more wrong. My 16” MacBook Pro fits in it snug but it’s still easy to remove. I love the minimalist design and how easy it slides into my bag and protects my laptop. If you’ve been unsure or hated other cases this is the one!

Great product

The Neo Sleeve was exactly what I was looking for: a pouch that is easy to use, protective but not bulky, and fits perfectly inside my backpack’s laptop compartment without causing a bulge like many other sleeves do.

I was in between rental houses, and Waterfield was able to hold off shipping and send it on the day I requested. Customer service was prompt, friendly, and very accommodating.

It was an all-around great experience.

The only case you need

Look I love getting new cases to protect my devices. However, the only cases I seem to use are the ones from SF Bags. And no matter how great a case looks or how protective it is, if you don’t use it, it’s …well…useless! This Neptune case is superbly designed and engineered to make it easy to use and offer decent protection from dings and short drops under 2 feet I would say. But since I never drop my MacBook and am very careful, I cannot say how protective it could be for larger drops. If you want a super tough case, this isn’t it. But it doesn’t pretend to be. I have tried those kind of cases from Thule etc, but I never end up using them because they are so bulky and a hassle to get in and out of bags. This sleeve gets used all the time, so ultimately it offers better protection than any other case which I would never use!

Tight like a Tiger

Received in good order, it fits the laptop very snuggly, almost too snug as it takes both hands to hold the loops and using the laptop’s weight or your body to let it fall/push it into the holder. Its rubbery smell was fairly pronounced but has dissipated over the past week.

I am sure the fit will improve over time, the laptop feels safe like it can take a minor drop without issue.

The lightweight Neo Sleeve provides snug protection for your naked MacBook Pro or MacBook Air. We use the same 4.5mm neoprene used in wetsuits, so you know your Mac will be well-protected.

The fit will be quite tight initially, but give it time and the neoprene will stretch to your device's exact fit. Check out the memory stretch of your new Neo Sleeve by leaving the laptop overnight in the case, and you should see it be a bit looser the next day.

INSERTING YOUR DEVICE IS EASY

Put your device in one side, then stretch the other side over it and slip it in. Use the pull tabs to guide it in.
