The God of Messenger Bags

Easily the best messenger I have ever had. The Vitesse Plus holds far more than one might expect from its size, and because it is minimally structured you can make use of the space as you see fit. The waxed canvas is excellent quantity, the new style buckle is superb, and the way the strap is sewn into the sides of the bag mean no awkward hardware like other messengers have. It is light, comfortable to carry and stylish. What more could you want?

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my son to replace a similar (not Waterfield bag). Had specific requirements such as size, compartments, type of material and after much searching found the Vitesse Musette Plus. My son is extremely happy and immediately transferred everything out of his old bag.

HEAVY-DUTY 15 OZ. WAXED CANVAS

Not all waxed canvas bags are created equal. Lower quality bags use 6 oz. canvas. The majority designated as “durable” use 12 oz. canvas. At 15 oz., our waxed canvas exceeds what is commonly sold in the market, yet it's still lightweight. It has a naturally rugged, distressed look and can be re-waxed to freshen it up.

The canvas comes from a reputable U.S. mill that has produced these fabrics since 1930. This specialized textile is coated with Martexin Original Wax™ and shouldn't require much cleaning. Stains can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

HOW TO FRESHEN UP YOUR CANVAS

Keep your bag Vitesse Musette Plus looking new by applying wax when you think it needs a little refresh. Although you can use any wax, you may want to try Martexin Original Wax™ which was initially used to coat your canvas bag.
